LAFARGE Cement Zimbabwe shareholders will vote on the company’s planned name change to Khaya Cement during an extraordinary general meeting on July 7, 2023.
The name change, which was first announced earlier this year, has been necessitated by the exit of Associated International Cement form the business.
“Furthermore, the proposed change … is intended to align the name of the company with its stellar plans that include new product lines and service options,” the company said last week in a circular to shareholders.
