CHINESE nationals are flocking to Zimbabwe due to the country’s mining sector growth, a cabinet minister has said.
Speaking in the National Assembly last week, Home Affairs minister Kazembe Kazembe said the country is now a host of over 25 000 Chinese nationals post Covid-19.
“Given the government’s thrust in attracting investment, the President’s (Emmerson Mnangagwa) mantra, Zimbabwe is open for business, the country received quite a number of investors from all over the world, including China.”
