THE African Development Bank (ADB) has implored authorities to prioritise the revitalisation of the country’s railway network in order to spur economic development beyond the Sadc region.

This comes as the country is hosting the Sadc Industrialisation week.

Speaking during a Sadc Investment Conference in Harare on Monday, ADB country manager, Moono Mupotola said railway infrastructure was critical in connecting the sub-region in order to support regional value chains and value addition in Zimbabwe’s critical minerals sector.
