AUTHORITIES are engaging all key stakeholders, including business, in a bid to ensure that consumers continue to enjoy relatively stable prices of basic goods.
Industry minister Mangaliso Ndhlovu yesterday said their goal was to see to it that all the factors that had caused prices to tick up over the past few weeks were remedied.
“The stabilisation of prices is a monetary policy function. But as the government, we are also working hard to make sure that all the upward pressure that consumers have experienced over the past few weeks is addressed…”
