THE African Development Bank has urged Zimbabwe to diversify its economy, warning that over-reliance on traditional sectors leaves the country vulnerable to climate change impacts.

The multilateral development finance institution said to sustain and boost growth, authorities should diversify the economy beyond traditional sectors.

The institution said this comes as the real GDP growth rate is forecast to decline by two percent in 2024 owing to expected lower agricultural output resulting from the El Nino-induced drought.
