A STATE witness, Priscillah Mudzinge, a local Government ministry official, yesterday told a Harare magistrate that no councillor is entitled to get a commercial stand in all the country’s 92 local authorities.

A director for urban local authorities, Mudzinge, was testifying in a matter in which seven former Harare City councillors are in court for allegedly allocating themselves commercial stands.

She told the court that a councillor is only allowed to have a residential stand as part of their packages.
