GOVERNMENT says it is targeting to import about 430 000 metric tonnes of grain to feed the nation up to March next year.
This comes as the country is grappling with the debilitating effects of the El Nino-induced drought that was declared a state of national disaster by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The grain requirements were confirmed by Information minister Jenfan Muswere while addressing a post-Cabinet press briefing in Harare yesterday.
