TOURIST arrivals in Zimbabwe increased by 44,2 percent to 320 336 in the second quarter of 2023, as the sector continues on a recovery path.
During the quarter, overseas arrivals increased 2,2 percent to 84 771, while arrivals from Africa increased 69,2 percent to 235 565.
According to Treasury’s latest bulletin, the tourism sector is estimated to have generated US$209,6 million during the second quarter of 2023, a two percent increase compared to US$206,1 million generated in 2022.
