GOVERNMENT says it is committed to intensifying the growth of small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.
Addressing a business expo in Insiza District, Matabeleland South Province, Small and Medium Enterprises minister Monica Mutsvangwa outlined a range of strategies aimed at empowering SMEs and enhancing their role in Zimbabwe’s socioeconomic development.
She, however, acknowledged the sector’s significant contribution to the economy before pointing out that SMEs still faced numerous challenges in their operations.
