BUSINESS is pinning its hopes on the second National Development Strategy charting an improved and more sustainable growth trajectory for the country.

This comes as Zimbabwe is approaching the end of the first NDS (2021-2025), whose results thus far have been patchy — with the Cabinet having since recently approved the roadmap for the successor blueprint which will guide the nation from 2026 to 2030.

 It also comes as the government continues to pursue its lofty Vision 2030 against all odds which aims to transform Zimbabwe into an upper middle-income country by then.
