ZIMRA has requested the assistance of police to deal with errant motorists and shops evading paying taxes.
This comes as the revenue authority had over the years completed investigations of several cases of tax evasion and recovered millions of dollars.
In a letter dated October 8 addressed to the police officer in charge for Harare Province, Zimra enforcement manager for greater Harare Lennie Magwede said they were on a blitz targeting malls and motorists.
