THE Grain Marketing Board (GMB) says it is owing farmers US$21 million in outstanding payments from the 2022/2023 farming season.
Appearing before Parliament Public Accounts Committee (Pac) chaired by Chalton Hwende on their audited financial statements in the 2023 Auditor General’s Office report in the house yesterday, GMB chief executive officer Edson Badarai said they had managed to pay some farmers from the US$13 million they received from the ministry of Finance.
