GDP shows modest growth in Q3

ZIMBABWE’S economy registered a 2,37 percent increase in gross domestic product (GDP) during the third quarter of 2024, a rebound from the marginal decline of 0,63 percent in the previous quarter.

According to ZimStat, this growth was underpinned by strong performances in key sectors, despite persistent challenges in others.

The GDP at market prices stood at ZiG105,1 billion at the end of the third quarter of 2024, up from ZiG102,3 billion at the end of the second quarter.
