THE government is targeting to assist small-scale farmers affected by the El Nino-induced drought to embrace sustainable livestock farming initiatives in a bid to protect their livestock.
Agriculture and Rural Development Advisory Service Director of Livestock Production and Development Sitokozile Sibanda yesterday said efforts were being made to improve the growth of the livestock sector in rural communities.
