PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa says the integration of energy and metallurgy by mining companies is critical to spur industrialisation and economic growth.
He made these remarks yesterday at the launch of Xintai Palm River Energy Metallurgical Industrial Park, a metallurgical special economic zone in Beitbridge.
Mnangagwa stated that Zimbabwe Xintai Resources intends to construct 1 200 megawatts (of renewable energy and produce three million tonnes of iron and steel products.
