THE Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) says they have recorded a sharp increase in tobacco sales, attributing the growth to good rains received during the 2024/25 cropping season.
This comes after the country managed to achieve 265 million kilogrammes last season, despite being battered by El Nino, and they are targeting 300 million kilogrammes this season.
