THE Chamber of Mines today launches the sector’s 2024 Prospects and Industry report in Bulawayo at a breakfast meeting.
The Chamber of Mines will host the event on the side-lines of the country’s premier mining exhibition Mine Entra Expo, where it is a key patner of expo organisers, the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
“We are excited about Mine Entra though we had to shift from the traditional month of July to November because of the scheduling of the national harmonised elections.
“We (also) have … exhibitors ..from China as well as South Africa. It is not a surprise that the Chinese are participating because they are a significant player in the mining space,” ZITF chief executive Nick Ndebele said.
