BALDMIN Holdings, a local engineering company, has forged a partnership with China’s Henan Fote Heavy Machinery.
This alliance will enable Baldmin to distribute and sell warehouse spares, mining equipment, and other engineering-related equipment.
The agreement also permits Baldmin to assemble some of the equipment in Zimbabwe and South Africa, including sharing designs.
“We are so far the only company in Africa to be trusted with FTM to handle and assemble its equipment in the region and after three years, we will be the exclusive agent in sub-Saharan territory for the group,” the company stated.
