BULAWAYO City fathers have allayed stakeholders’ fears that the local authority intends to privatise its water and sanitation services after entering into a partnership with a private company.
This comes after BCC resolved to partner a Dutch company, VEI, for the implementation of the water and sanitation services project.
With pressure mounting, the local authority was yesterday forced to call for a crunch meeting to deliberate on the contentious matter.
