AT least 83 percent of industry and commerce perceive Zimbabwe’s 2024 ease of doing business environment as unfriendly, a new survey shows.
According to the latest annual State of the Industry and Commerce survey report, monetary and fiscal distortions, corruption, poor infrastructure, low demand, and unreliable power supply are some of the challenges weighing down the ease of doing business environment.
The report by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce called for an urgent need for transformative policy reforms to revitalise the economic landscape.
