CABS marked 75 years of banking on Friday with the financial institution transforming from being a mortgage lender to playing a pivotal role in driving Zimbabwe’s economic growth.
With its roots as a building society in 1949, CABS’ offering currently extends to all facets of the economy, including mining and agriculture.
CABS managing director Mehluli Mpofu said in agriculture, CABS has funded the production of tobacco, macadamia nuts, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and avocados.
