THE Ministry of Finance has urged the African insurance sector to embrace technology to tackle low insurance penetration, a persistent challenge across the continent.
Insurance penetration in Africa remains worryingly low, averaging around three percent compared to the global standard of seven percent. Commissioner of the Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) Grace Muradzikwa highlighted this concern.
