THE African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will be one of the key subjects up for discussion at the 10th edition of the CEO Africa Roundtable to be held in Victoria Falls early next month.
The conference, to run from June 12 to 15 under the theme, The future of Africa: Modernise, reshape and grow, will be attended by business leaders from across the continent.
CEO Africa Roundtable chief economist Tatenda Nyachega said AfCFTA, which aims to bring together all 55 member states of the African Union, covering a market of more than 1.3 billion people, was the best foot forward for the continent.
“You would see from the theme that it is mainly anchored on current happenings and also the projections of how we foresee in the future. The elephant in the room is the African Continental Free Trade Area..”
