SHAWASHAGRI, a cotton company under corporate rescue and its three directors, appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court facing charges of allegedly duping another cotton company, Sandton Textile Mills, of US$83 000 in a botched cotton deal.

The company is being represented by its corporate rescue practitioner Claudious Nhemwa, directors Lilian Nyamasoka, 41, Tonderai Njenda, 36, and Sarudzai Njenda, 34.

Sandton Textile Mills was represented by Omega Mugwagwa, its managing director.
