THE government is considering to exempt vehicles without radio signal receivers from paying radio licences.

This comes as motorists are currently obliged to pay for radio licences whether or not they have one fixed on their vehicles.

Speaking during a post-Cabinet media briefing yesterday, Muswere said they were coming up with a Broadcasting Services Amendment Bill that seeks to “amend several sections of the Broadcasting Services Act”.
