GOVERNMENT yesterday said the country’s fish production during 2023/2024 season decreased by 27 percent due to the effects of the El Nino-induced drought and over fishing.
In an interview, Fisheries and Aquaculture Resources Department (Fard) director Milton Makumbe said the country had witnessed overfishing, especially for kapenta.
