THE World Bank (WB) says Zimbabwe needs to bolster resilience against climate-related shocks, with a focus on the agriculture sector as a critical pillar of the economy.
This is according to the new Zimbabwe Economic Update published last Friday in Harare by the WB in a report titled “Improving Resilience to Weather Shocks and Climate Change”.
The WB recommended key policy areas for investments for resilience, that will help protect livelihoods and ensure sustainable agricultural development.
