AT LEAST 2 600 farmers in Hauna, Honde Valley, Manicaland Province, are set to benefit from a fruit and vegetable processing plant established by the government in the area.
This was confirmed by the minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Development minister, Monica Mutsvangwa, while addressing journalists in Harare at the weekend where she added that small and medium enterprises played a crucial role in the country’s economic growth.
“The establishment of the Hauna fruit and vegetables processing plant will benefit over 2 600 farmers from Honde Valley, Mutasa, and Nyanga districts and is expected to be completed by mid-May 2025.
