ELECTRICITY challenges affecting the country have had a negative impact on the operations of digital information centres across the nation, Parliament has said.
This comes as the government introduced digital information centers, also known as Community Information Centres, to bridge the digital divide and provide access to information communication technology (ICT) services, particularly in remote communities.
The chairperson of the Information Communication Technology Committee, Vusimuzi Moyo yesterday said the challenges were brought to the fore during an ongoing tour of the information centres.
