INNSCOR AFRICA reported a 15 percent decrease in diesel consumption in the fiscal year ending June 30 ,2024 as it reduces its carbon footprint by phasing out diesel powered machinery.
The Victoria Falls Stock Exchange – listed conglomerate used 8,13 million litres of diesel, down from 9,58 million litres in 2023.
“This drop in diesel usage is as a result of a 28 percent drop in diesel to run generators usage as the availability of grid fed electricity improved during F2024,” the company stated in its 2024 annual report.
