‘Let’s guard against economic imperialism’

SPEAKER of the National Assembly Jacob Mudenda says African Parliaments should guard against economic imperialism by critiquing international treaties and agreements for the benefit of the continent.

Speaking during the Africa colloquium of legal counsels to Parliament in Victoria Falls recently, Mudenda said the counsels needed to assist parliaments in scrutinising international agreements before they were domesticated.
