POWER cuts are set to worsen in the country in the coming months and going into the festive season, as Zesa will be switching off two of its generators at Hwange in October until year end.
The disconnection of the newly-installed units 7 and 8 at Hwange, for mandatory maintenance, will knock off much-needed 600 megawatts from the national power grid.
