PPC Zimbabwe realised record production at its Harare factory and Collen Bawn clinker plant in Bulawayo in the financial year ended March 31, 2024 due to enhanced factory efficiencies.
The company has operations which include a clinker plant at Collen Bawn and milling plants in Bulawayo and Harare with a combined capacity of 1,4million tonnes per annum.
Following a maintenance stoppage in the previous year at Collen Bawn, operations were stabilised with high clinker production, albeit below capacity potential leading to increased clinker imports and high production costs.
