HARVESTING of early planted and irrigated tobacco has commenced in some parts of the country amid favourable rains being received across the nation.
The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) yesterday said farmers were optimistic of harvesting a quality leaf this season as good farming practices were followed.
