FIVE suspected armed robbers who robbed Quest Financial Services of US$720 000 in February appeared in court last Friday facing new robbery charges.
Tafadzwa Richard Marondera, 25, Liberty Mukanganise, 31, Brighton Chikukwa, 27, Silence Matambo, 27, and Luke Zinyengere, 28, appeared before Harare magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa facing ten more counts of armed robbery.
They were remanded in custody to June 14 for routine remand. It is the State’s case that the five and their two accomplices who are still at large robbed Judith Bathes of Ariel Primary School located in Ruwa on December 29, 2023.
