AUTHORITIES yesterday admitted that prices of basic commodities remained high, with some in limited stock, but will continue monitoring and ensure market-relevant interventions are made to stabilise prices.
This was said by Information minister Jenfan Muswere while addressing a media post-Cabinet briefing in Harare last night.
He said the government had also noted limited stock levels of cooking oil, mealie-meal, bread and sugar were observed in the formal outlets, while the products are readily available in the informal ones.
