WEST Property (WestProp) says it is investing US$300 million into its Hills Luxury Golf Estate project in Harare.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project yesterday, Westprop chief executive officer Ken Sharpe implored the private sector to develop the country through construction of modern houses that meet international standards.
“The project is a legacy project which brings many firsts, such as, for the first time in Sub Saharan Africa, branded residences putting us ahead of our neighbours South Africa.
“We believe the impact of this project will forever change perceptions in Harare and Zimbabwe, “ he said.
Sharpe added the Hills Luxury Golf Estate, formerly known as Warren Hills Golf Club, would be a complex in which people would be able to live, work, shop and play golf.
