THE Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Corporation (ZCDC) is targeting to produce 5,7 million carats of diamonds this year as it ramps up production.
The country’s largest diamond miner said as commodity prices continue to decline in the international market, it has implemented strategies to ramp up output and enhance operational efficiency.
ZCDC board chairman Munashe Shava the company is aiming to nearly double its diamond output to 10 million carats in the next year.
