Zimbabwe gets US$200k drought relief funding

THE African Union (AU) has provided Zimbabwe with US$200 000 to help mitigate the impacts of the El Nino-induced drought that is affecting the country.

This comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa declared this year a state of disaster requiring international support amid drought-induced food insecurity stalking nearly 10 million Zimbabweans.
