Zimbabwe leads debt reform charge

ZIMBABWE is pushing for international financial institutions to relax lending conditions to ease the burden on developing countries, which are struggling with crippling debts, deputy Finance Minister Kudakwashe Mnangagwa has said. “We cannot depend on a global financial architecture that was established for a world that existed 80 years ago,” he said in New York at the weekend.
