THE country is on high alert amid expectations of above normal rains which could lead to disasters such as flooding.
This comes as the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in its latest report has forecasted that “as the country transitions from the El Niño to the La Niña phenomenon there is a likelihood of flooding in some districts especially the south western regions hence the need to plan ahead.”
