AFRICAN Risk Capacity Limited (ARC) chief executive Lesley Ndlovu says there is a massive opportunity for climate-related insurance products in Zimbabwe.
This comes after ARC forked out a total US$32 million in climate insurance payouts earlier this year to assist people affected by drought in Zimbabwe.
“The opportunity for insurance is massive because the insurance penetration in Zimbabwe is currently quite low. Most of the farmers affected by drought do not have any insurance.
