IT IS all systems go for this year’s significantly bigger and eagerly anticipated Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), which kicks off tomorrow here in Bulawayo.

An impressive 576 exhibitors are taking part in the mega expo, compared with last year’s 565. In addition, 27 countries — six more than those who were present in 2023 — will be at the fair, while 136 exhibitors will be participating here for the very first time.

The country’s premier business exhibition is expected to be officially opened by Kenyan president William Ruto.

ZITF 2024 will run from April 23 to 27 — with its chairperson, Busisa Moyo, saying recently that the first three days of the week-long exhibition would be a “strictly business-to-business” affair, with entrepreneurship at the heart of engagements.
