THE Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe has deregistered 356 pharmacists for not paying their annual fees.
In a notice yesterday, the council’s registrar Alois Karonga said they had deregistered pharmacy technicians, optometrists and dispensing opticians.
“It is hereby notified that the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe, in terms of the Health Professions Act, has with effect from the 18th of October 2024 deregistered or erased persons whose names appear on the list in the schedule from the appropriate registers.”
