AFRICAN ministers and government officials responsible for infrastructure and transport have called on the African Development Bank (AfDB) to play a more assertive role in promoting closer integration across the continent.
Speaking during a high-level panel held shortly before the close of the second edition of the Transport Forum in Abidjan, the ministers urged the AfDB to step up support to promote closer integration across the continent and create the world’s largest free trade area.
