BATTERY and paper making firm Amalgamated Regional Trading (ART) Corporation has reported a 12 percent drop in production volumes for the year ended September 30, 2024, primarily due to ongoing power shortages that have ravaged industrial output nationwide.

As a result, the group said its topline for the year fell 10 percent to US$34,3 million from US$38,2 million prior year which was also compounded by “product availability challenges and the deliberate scaling down of paper production.”
