IN RESPONSE to the ongoing challenges associated with the introduction of the gold-backed ZiG currency, some Zimbabwean banks have started offering innovative solutions to facilitate seamless transactions for their customers.
One such solution is the introduction of the US dollar to ZiG conversion services via USSD and internet banking.
This development comes in the wake of the government’s crackdown on street currency traders and the resulting shortage of ZiG notes and coins.
