CHAMPIONS Insurance plans to grow its business by tapping into new markets, starting with the SMEs sector.
The insurer has launched a chatbot named ‘Chamu’ and an SME coupon product as part of its strategy to “reach all Zimbabweans” through a combination of physical and digital channels.
“Our book was heavily skewed towards the motor book and we anticipate that the introduction of this SME coupon on policy will then come in to further dilute that book,” said managing director Sibongile Tsapo.
