ONE of South Africa’s largest real estate firms, Chas Everitt International, is expanding to Zimbabwe and will soon open an office in Harare.
The property group said the expansion is driven by Zimbabwe’s steady economic recovery and the surge in mining, tourism, and agriculture, attracting affluent buyers and investors to the local real estate market.
“In addition, urbanisation is increasing and there has been a surge in diaspora spending in response to the government’s policy reforms and infrastructure developments, with the result that Zimbabwe now has one of the fastest-growing property markets in Africa,” Chas Everitt COO Barry Davies said.
