GOVERNMENT has called for stiffer measures against unscrupulous agro-dealers flooding the market with fake seeds, a development described as a threat to national food security.
This comes as experts have also called for a complete overhaul of the legal framework governing seed certification to protect farmers from fraudulent practices.
